Fomo is real (fear of missing out)

I know for me lately my life has been way too fast. My body is telling me, my mind, and it’s showing up in my life in different ways.I crave quiet and peace and at the same time, I have a fear of missing out on something that is exciting or fun or meaningful for a relationship. This draws me to be in excess. Restraint from eating too much, drinking, playing, sexing, or working too much takes deep self-study. Why do we reach for these things? What are they giving us?
